Frequently Asked Questions

What does your USDA label mean?

Our USDA label means that all our animals have their pedigrees checked to verify their Black Angus cattle status. Consider it extra assurance that you’re receiving only the highest-quality beef products from Heritage Angus Farms!

What do you feed your cattle?

We utilize a variety of feeds (all grown on our farm) and partner with an animal nutritionist to ensure our Black Angus cattle consume a diet filled with the nutrients they need to thrive.

What are your shipping policies?

If you live in most central Minnesota locations—or in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties—your order will be delivered within seven (7) days of order placement. If you need delivery on a specific date, please message us directly

Our perishable products are shipped with ice packs inside a Styrofoam cooler. We utilize FedEx two-day shipping to ensure our goods arrive in a timely manner (these orders will be shipped on Mondays). Orders consisting of only nonperishable goods are shipped via USPS priority mail.

We do not deliver or send orders to PO Boxes or ship internationally.

Will my order arrive frozen?

All cuts of our Black Angus beef arrive frozen. Snack items arrive ready to eat.
